Peekchas

This was a particularly hard post to write because I am on Carla's computer and all the instructions are in Thai.  Also as I write this some girl just told me she was a 36FF bra and im amazed so I have to take a moment........

 So I have had my first two classes and they were lackluster at best.  The first was a history lesson about Thailand and the second was supposed to be on medical anthropology.  They were very long but very introductory and I want to get to the nitty gritty about bioethics and medical ethics, so hopefully tomorrow.  We went to the market and got hairy fruit and milk tea which is becoming my favorite.

My bug bite on my forehead is still throbbing though, I did get malaria pills and B1 vitamins though because I have a pharmacy in my room.  I don't remember if I have told you about my bugbite yet because I also have to journal for myself so I spoke about this before but I dunno where!

P. Da (P stands for like a big sister figure) has held us down on our travel itenerary so this weekend we are going to go to an island getaway for 200 BHT which is 6 dollars.  It's two hours away and has snorkeling, scuba diving, elephant riding, waterfalls, night markets, and floaty markets.  Also hotels here are 15 dollars a person.  Score.

I also met this gorgeous Thai girl who is going to take us out to Bangkok tonight and we are going to party because they are done with finals.  Literally every Thai girl I have met here looks like she just came off the set of her modeling pictures and they are in the middle of finals.  i try and communicate with them that in America we wear sweats for 9 days straight during finals, and they just laugh but their hair and clothes are all perfect!
